Goddess Course Week 8

Journal Prompt/ Ritual

Pascha Mama

She is the sacred vessel that all life on this planet comes from in the form of the foods we eat, the plants and mountains we see, that become our beautiful surroundings, and shelters

  • This week we connect to Pacha Mama, the Peruvian Earth Goddess. Pacha Mama is the feminine goddess Mother Earth. She is the sacred vessel that all life on this planet comes from in the form of the foods we eat, the plants and mountains we see, that become our beautiful surroundings, and shelters.  Pacha Mama is strong, beautiful, knows how to protect herself, and continues to give life and support to all her children.
  • Honor the womb - the space of creation - both physically, emotionally, energetically
    • Our feelings are our guides that show us what we want and what we don’t want
    • We can use these emotions, our voice, and our bodies to set healthy boundaries for ourselves and those we need to protect.
    • We are one of her beloved children. And when we honor her, we are honor our sacred vessels, our bodies which are inherently connected to her.  When we honor her waters, we honors the water and fluids that flow within our own bodies.  When we honor her divine creativity and life giving powers, we honor our own. This is sacred connection we can explore this week through a short journaling practice and ritual.

        • You can make this a collection of natural found things that you love (some examples are: rocks, a bowl flowers, pine cones, shells, seeds)
        • or you can use some nice things from your own collection: crystals, paintings, artwork, skulls from your favorite creatures, jewelry, foods you love (fruits, chocolate, nuts, etc.)
        • Arrange your altar in a place where you feel connected to nature. Outside your house, in a sunroom, next to a big sunny window, somewhere where you can see it and give thanks.
        • Keep it up at least for a day, (and you can take it down whenever you need to)
        • Whenever it is sunset, go outside to see the setting sun, feel the earth, and give thanks for whatever joy, enjoyment, new opportunities or love this day has brought you. And bow your head to the heart. Aho.
        • We are rising to our own Divinity: Together.
